Your privacy is important to us. FBrocco’s policy is to maintain your privacy regarding any information we may collect from you on our website and other sites and apps we own and operate.
Who we are
We are FBrocco, and our website address is https://www.fbrocco.com.
What personal data do we collect, and why
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, the visitor’s IP address, and the browser user agent string to help detect spam.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to Gravatar to see if you use the service. Gravatar’s privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After your comment is approved, your profile picture will be publicly visible next to your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors can download pictures from the website and extract any location data.
Website forms
We use the information you provide to register for an account, attend our events, receive newsletters, use other services, or do anything else.
We will not sell or rent your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law.
We want to send you marketing communications by email that you may find interesting from time to time. If you consent at this point, you can opt-out later.
You can stop contacting us for marketing purposes at any time. If you no longer wish to be contacted for marketing purposes, please click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email.
To protect forms on this site from automated submissions (bots), we use the Cloudflare Turnstile service. This feature verifies that the interaction is being made by a real person, without collecting or storing personal information for tracking or advertising purposes.
Turnstile is provided by Cloudflare, Inc., and operates transparently, respecting the privacy of users. No sensitive data is stored or shared with third parties through this service.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on the site, you may opt-in to save your name, email address, and website in cookies. These are for your convenience, so you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you have an account and visit this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in to your account on the site, we will also set several cookies to save your login information and screen display choices. Login cookies last two days, and screen options cookies last a year. If you select “Remember Me,” your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
Suppose you edit or publish an article; an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.
Embedded media from other sites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g., videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves like the visitor visiting another website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
Who do we share your data with
We will not sell, rent, or otherwise share your personal information with third parties unless we have your permission or are required to by law.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. We do this to recognize and automatically approve any follow-up comments instead of holding them for moderation.
We also store the personal information provided by users who register on our website in their user profiles. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit this information.
What rights do you have over your data
If you have an account on this site or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we must keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where do we send your data
An automated spam detection service may check visitor comments.
